West Kirkland Closes Brokered Flow-Through Private Placement

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, November 2, 2010 - West Kirkland Mining Inc. (WKM:TSXV) (“West Kirkland” or the “Company”) announces the closing of the brokered flow-through private placement announced on October 6, 2010 with PI Financial Corp. (the “Agent”). The offering consisted of 1,875,000 flow-through shares at a price of $1.20 per share. The Agent was also granted a 15% overallotment option, which has been exercised, for a total of 2,156,233 flow-through common shares for gross proceeds of $2,587,480. The Agent received a cash commission of 6% of the gross proceeds of the offering plus reimbursement of costs.

All securities issued pursuant to the private placement will be subject to a four month hold period. The aggregate net proceeds raised from the issuance of flow-through shares will be used for general exploration expenditures, which will constitute Canadian exploration expenses (as defined in the Income Tax Act) and will be renounced for the 2010 taxation year.
